30, was curated by JHC Executive Director Peter Fitzsimmons in association
with Legacy. The exhibition features multi-media works of art including
limited edition photographs and sculptures and original paintings. Rare
artifacts and memorabilia related to music legends Miles Davis and Carlos
Santana will also be on display.

Smithsonian Institution, where her canvas of Duke Ellington hangs. Renowned
sculptor Ed Dwight -- who was American's first African American astronaut
trainee -- will be represented with mixed media images and limited edition
bronze pieces capturing Davis. JHC Resident Artist and "Youth Jazz N' Art"
instructor Rhonel Roberts will also exhibit original paintings.

Photographically, the exhibition will include limited editions of rare
silver gelatin prints of Miles Davis from the archives of ICON Collectibles

artifacts and collectibles will be on display courtesy of Santana
Management.

Lush Life Gallery (1320 Fillmore St., SF, CA 94115) and the Take Five
Gift Shop help financially sustain the educational outreach components of
the non-profit Jazz Heritage Center organization. Based in the hub of the
city's historic Fillmore Jazz Preservation District, the JHC will also
launch JazzGenesis: San Francisco and the Birth of Jazz, the first
permanent exhibition space showcasing San Francisco as an origin of jazz.
JHC's mission is to promote and preserve jazz while celebrating its
presence as an active, living art form.
